My wish, our wish... is rather simple and straightforward.
It may not come true but we have faith that it will.
I wish, we wish... to reincarnate into another world.
You may brand this as every otaku's dream: to be isekai'd to another world.
But it's a bit more than that.
I've created many characters, whom I've also used as personas or alternate personalities.
These many personas or characters are all representations of myself— all my dreams, truths, and ideals.
Each of them have slight or large differences.
One may focus on a single part of me while another focuses on a different part.
Out of all of these personas... there are twelve beings that I and supposedly other me's from alternate timelines or parallel worlds reincarnate into.
Each of these twelve represents a different possibility, a different fate.
And eventually, these twelve have descendants of their own or they sprout into more pieces of themselves.
These twelve have been entitled the Prophets of Plasmania.
Plasmania was the first universe I ever created and developed.
Soon a few more were created to follow suit.
Each of the twelve had their own personalities and own little lives.
As I mentioned before, some of them created more beings or more of themselves.
Others gained direct descendants.
The twelve soon gathered together, led by the reincarnation I deemed my most direct ideals.
A young ambitious creator endowed in pure red energy.
He dared to become a god and had to split into twenty-two pieces of himself whom he placed inside a personal fully-developed pocket dimension parallel to his existence.
He did this to reenter his homeworld, Plasmania, soon to be the home of all the other reincarnations after much time had passed.
In this time, many conflicts marked the continued development, and in some cases the end, of the worlds I created.
For some time, I truly believe these worlds I created existed somewhere in the void.
A void born from chaos, the original void.
A void where wandering spirits, spirits without a vessel sought out new homes or shattered to become pure energy.
In this void, energy was infinite, time and space were irrelevant, and the unknown resided.
A truly wonderful story, isn't it?
Well, back to the twelve reincarnations I mentioned before.
As I mentioned, the twelve gathered together.
They created a thirteenth. One whom held all their strengths.
A true reincarnation of who they once were.
And that thirteenth used his natural ability as a talented creator to form another.
A small girl with the power to manipulate reality itself.
In a way, this girl complemented the thirteenth's power to manipulate concepts, or rather the very ideas that form one's perspective.
Unfortunately, the recently defeated threat of the darker descendants of chaos tried to tap into this power himself by consuming the girl.
This, of course, striked much fear into the girl, causing her ability to activate.
As a result, three worlds were greatly affected.
One, Plasmania, collapsed.
Another, Kokishin, shrunk.
And lastly, Gyarakushi, received devastating damage.
As for the threat, it was split into two.
And the three worlds? Well, they investigated the effects of the ability.
Thankfully, they learned what truly happened, despite the massive memory wipe. All thanks to the survivors and the residual memories left in a select few.
Then, they fought and defeated one half of the threat, assimilating it into their team.
Meanwhile, the thirteen reincarnations was fused into a single being, a single powerful spirit.
Excess energy from this fusion created another.
These two, along with the girl and a boy who had a small relation with one of the thirteen, fell into a new unknown world.
There, in their considerably weakened states, they grew up with new memories.
The fused spirit and the girl ended up as siblings.
The boy ended up as the fused spirit's best friend.
The other soon met them after they all grew up and reunited the fused spirit with an old familiar who survived the ability.
It was no surprise though, as this particular familiar was forged from the soul of one of the original thirteen.
Of course, this familiar was also weakened considerably, but he held all of the memories of the young god endowed in red.
However, the familiar held no memories of the life prior to the thirteen.
The life that one of the thirteen may refer to as Narushi Shizukani.
As this may not be my actual name, but rather an alias I am quite fond of.
It translates to "become death, silently".
This refers to the time in my life where all I did was wait to die.
But, on with the story, shall we?
So, the fused spirit, the continuation of the thirteen... this is who I wish to become.
He regained his memories, surpassed the descendant of the threat, and defeated the threat.
These four will soon go on to fulfill the second part of my wish. The part of my wish the boy endowed in red fulfilled sometime after becoming a god.
My wish to continue to discover new worlds and visit ones I may already be aware of.
You see...
I believe that each world in every story that has ever or will ever be written truly exists somewhere in that endless black void of energy.
That they occur in some alternate timeline, parallel world, or maybe an entirely different universe altogether.
That is what I truly believe.
Sure, this may be just wishful thinking.
But I also believe that the void is simply one piece of the afterlife.
That heaven or hell... are just personal opinions of what kind of world one may end up in.
I mean... I know I myself believed this world... what may have been the first world to ever be born from the void...
As it is of 2021... it is pure hell.
That's just my opinion, of course.
But, that's my wish.
Kinda dumb, huh?
Well, I don't care if you think it's dumb.
I actually went out of my way to create these dumb, complicated philosophical theories to explain the afterlife to further solidify my own beliefs.
That's how much I care.
That's how much I want this wish to come true.
But...
Until this vessel finally fails me...
And my spirit finally leaves it behind...
Until then... my other wish... my wish for the time I'm in this world...
It quite simple as well...
I want to live a fun, fulfilling life doing what I love and nothing else... even if it ends up being shortlived.
I love the worlds of games and anime. The worlds that stories bring to my mind and soul.
I want to continue to explore those worlds and enjoy them alongside the few true friends I've made along the way.
Though one day, I may forget everything.
Of course, I do hope that doesn't happen before I planned it to.
But even though that is a decent possibility...
I want to enjoy my life as much as I do in my second life as well as my third.
Sure... it's just my ideals.
Yeah... I'm getting all caught up in those ideals.
But... I don't care even if it may be dumb.
Call me a fool if you want.
I probably am.
Actually, I've already accepted that I am. Hehe.
But, if you're reading this... pass on my legacy, assuming I didn't do so myself already.
Yes, please pass it on.
Our legacy, our wish.
May it live on for eternity.
May it live strong so even the void can't erase it.
There's so many worlds I want to see beyond the screen, beyond the void.
So many to see, so many to discover, and so many more waiting to form!
Don't you want to see them too?
So, once more...
Please pass on our dream...
Our wish.
Our legacy.
The legacy of Plasmania.
