Magical Objects

Magical objects are often told of in both legends and mythos.

These objects are often ancient or made of special magical material.

Magical material includes things made of solified mana like magic ore, crystals, or cloth. Such material allows one to more easily channel one's own mana through an object.

Though, like certain vessels most objects have their limitations.

As such, channeling too much mana into an object may very well shatter it. This happens often with weapons made of non-magical materials.

But how does magic materials come into existence?

Magical materials can be made through the process of alchemy. The better the alchemist's skill and the stronger their spirit and passion, the more durable the material becomes. The more durable the material, the more mana it can handle.

Though, may it be harder to get a hold of, naturally formed magic materials tend to be more reliable since they're not made from a specific spirit's mana but rather mana, or energy in general.

The purity of that energy, both untainted and unbound, further increases the durability of magic objects made from them.

In fact, most ancient relics are actually made from natural magic material. Many of which are said to be indestructible.

The mana of the world itself, ever seeping in through the aether from the Void where it exists in endless quantity. It makes perfect sense for such material to be indestructible!

Though, the natural formation of magic material is extremely rare. As they tend to only form in areas of high mana/energy concentration, which are already rare to find to begin with.

In lots of worlds, these areas are already taken over and have factories built on top of them! Unauthorized areas, they say. But one may not be the type to follow rules as many seek power at any cost.

What's the most common shape mana/energy take when solidifying?

The most common shape is crystal.

But does mana only form as solid material?

No, though pure mana in liquid form is said to be even rarer than solidified mana. It's more common to find mana in such a state as the equivalent of blood for magic creatures. Though, said creatures often disentigrate and return to pure energy when killed.

What's the most common use for magic material?

The answer is weaponry, armor, and other types of battle equipment. Such equipment may even be given a name in some worlds.

Do magic materials have their own elemental attributes?

Sometimes, but not always. When they do, their location often plays a huge role.

If living beings can be born in the Void, can magic material also form there?

Theoretically, yes. Yes, it can.

Some may even further hypothesize that the highest quality of magic material can only be found in the Void.

Others may hypothesize that magic material form only when gathering energy fails to form a world or a lord.

Furthermore, one may further hypothesize that such magic material is that unpredictable and unexplainable "dark matter".

Though, overall...

Magic materials are highly sought after in worlds with magic.

There, no other object may be more valuable than the material other than the finished projects themselves: weapons, armor, jewelry, and other accessories/equipment.
